My memories of the "Day in Infamy"

I was in the backyard that Sunday afternoon when someone had heard over the radio that Japan had bombed Hawaii and our  Navy.  We went to school as always Monday morning. quiet and bewildered

Our day was spent listening to Congress declare war (lacking only one positive vote.)  We heard the president, Roosevelt,   call the attack "a day  in infamy"

Pipeline should be built

They give themselves a victory over the pipeline, but it may be more pyrric than victory.  I'm referring to the Indians and  protesters of the pipeline that has been going on for several years. It would not  damage Indian
property, and Indians can always get support if a cemetery or other such property will be damaged.  The pipeline will be a benefit..
