Pickens shipmate heard from

I've just heard from a family member of Rankin "Tip" Tippins, a former shipmate on the USS Pickens.  He was a signalman,  lives in Michigan, and is 88 years old.  I will send him a picture of the Pickens.as soon as I have his address.
